Forest Exploitation

exploitation forestière

Since 1669, by an ordinance of National Forestry Commission, Colbert, Minister of Finance for Louis XIV, undertakes to restore the royal forests left and abandoned. The National office retains parts of these trees. The other parts are offered for sale and rejuvenated thanks to natural regeneration. Conscious of the wealth of this inheritance and the ecological role, the best partners and professional contributors in the forest analysis of our oak groves are selected, in collaboration with the National Forest Office.
