1940
Lauriano Canadell political refugee during the Spanish war, creates the production of charcoal to be used to supply the military factories in Tarbes.

1950
The activity is enlarged with the production of cross-ties for railroad building. Also the first manufacturing of wooden barrels bound for the Cooper's shops near the Bordeaux quays. The wooden casks were cut at that time with wedge and axe.

1970
The first investments in sawing equipment were attained at the current site of Trie sur Baise.

1980
Part of the Tronçais Forest was purchased to reach demand of fine grained wooden barrels intended for the most delicate of wines.

1984
In order to be closer to the prestigious forests of the Parisian area, installation of a manufacturing unit in the Oise was established.

1992
Acquisition of two batches of oak from the Compiegne timber forest (Beaux Monts grove).

1998
Acquisition of three batches of oak from the Tronçais timber forest (Colbert Canton de Morat Grove).

1999
Acquisition of the last two batches from the Tronçais timber forest (Colbert Canton de Morat Grove)offered for sale by the National Forest Department.

2000
Acquisition of oak batches of the Petit Parc du Château de Versailles from the Domaine National de Versailles.

2002
The first manufacturing of oak for oenology is undertaken.
